Greg Glasser's series of river-inspired furniture oozes with the most alluring contrast of textured, yet smoothed over maple wood and hand-cut blue glass. It visually lends itself to a vast geological landscape of a still river slowly expanding its stone barriers. These table tops are held by thick, industrial legs, constructed of what I'm assuming is powder-coated steel or iron. They provide a strong base and visually contrasting element below the abstract table-top.
The furniture's organic quality begs wonder as to how a Glasser deliberately crafted such seemingly natural beauties. He fit the materials together flawlessly, creating truly exquisite pieces of contemporary furniture. It's no wonder that most of his pieces (ranging between $9200 to $5800) are sold out!
